“We have been gathering at Norway Beach for our family reunion for over 80 years! I am a family friend who is considered "an expected guest" every year. So I've attended this reunion about 35 of the 44 years that I have been included in this special celebration. This is a precious place, run beautifully by owner Jimmy! He is top shelf, excellent, cheerful, supportive, accommodating, and amazing. He is remodeling and adding features constantly. Add this to the fact that you are on the South Shore on one of Minnesota's truly spectacular lakes for sailing, swimming, fishing, and water skiing. And those sunsets and sunrises! Best!! Highly recommend this place! It's a precious part of my life now !!”

“The resort is a great family owned resort and the lake is amazing. The cabin are steps from the lake and very clean and homey. The owner Jimmy was great to work with and also rented a pontoon for the day and it ran great. I highly recommend booking with them and you will love the resort and the area too”

“Im going around Minnesota to find hidden treasures. If you're looking for your home away from home, Norway beach resort is the place for you. There are 11 cabins ranging in sizes that could easily fit a family of 10. Don't feel like hauling your watercraft? That's okay, you can rent one of the pontoon boats while you're here. Or take a spin on one of the kayaks, hydro bikes or paddle boats available to use! Be sure to bring your fishing pole and get ready to catch some jumbo perch and nice size walleye. Jimmy and his staff have really come a long way to make Norway Beach Resort a place for the whole family to come and relax, and roast a marshmallow or two!”

“We just got back from our stay at NBR and boy were extremely happy with our experience there. First and foremost Jimmy and his family (crew) went out of their way to make this as easy and fun as it could be not only for the adults but our two kids both under 4! We had stayed at a few other places over the last few years but, never seemed comfortable, I felt comfortable here. We have already booked for next year for 10 days. We are looking forward to it! The cabins were great and our son loved the mini golf! The lake is beautiful! The resort is small and quiet. Which is exactly what we were looking for. Great job Jimmy and Co. “Have been coming here for the past couple of years with friends for Memorial Day weekend and it quickly became a yearly tradition! The owners are very friendly and the cabins are very well-maintained. The beach is clean and well-kept & there are a wide variety of activities to choose from. Always a good time to be had regardless of the weather!”

“This is our favorite spot in the area! We love coming up here and the cabins just keep getting better. The owner is usually there to answer any questions you have and is very friendly. A few of the cabins have really nice beach front and it’s always relaxing here. It’s dog friendly, which is a big plus for us & there are also lots of options for kids to play in the water with kayaks, water bikes, SUPs, trampoline & more.”

“Where do I start. It's breathtaking here at Norway Beach. It's everything and more of what we were expecting. From first talking to Jimmy and until the time we got here I felt like I already knew him. What a wonderful place and very updated. So much to do. We came up for a friend's week and fished our heart's out. Jimmy always pointed us in the right direction. We stayed in Cabin 6 the one that he updated over the winter and man is it beautiful. Loved having the blinds and windows open taking in all the fresh air and beautiful scenery. If you get the chance to go up this way Norway Beach won't let you down. You will fall in love and before you know it you will be booking another vacation up here. We can't say it enough Thank you so much Jimmy for the pointers and hosting our friends week.
